And this is what we were out in yesterday. Not a blizzard, but the sun wasn't shining and it was very cold. As you can see, perfect for tobogganing down the local slope (we just watched!). Great atmosphere.
Ladies and gentlemen, that was the Quickstep. And now...the Waltz!
I feel I'm living proof that there is vigorous, colourful life to be had after facing up to retirement and some major personal challenges. I know who I am, where I want to go, and I feel that nothing can stop me except myself.
Rules, customs, conventions? Not part of my way. But I respect wisdom and wise laws. I salute balance, intelligence, rational enquiry, beauty and the creative imagination. I also salute freedom of the spirit, the right to be different, and the sheer enjoyment of being alive. Read me and join me.
The picture at the top is just beautiful! It seems that more adults go sledding than kids today.

I love the top one too. We don't have lanes like that around here - nor the same amount of snow.
ReplyDeleteIt's similar to that here in "Majorclangerville" with kids skating and making giant snowballs. I'm still off work.
