The Ugly Duckling

The camera does not lie. This picture of myself, taken very recently indeed, should console anyone who frets over their less-than-perfect looks and feels they will never be beautiful. There is one who looks even worse. Dig that nose, those piggy eyes, that double chin. Sigh.

  1. Hi Lucy
I think the camera can lie.
    It can certainly be harsh.
You are a beautiful person & have a beautiful heart. Please try not to be so hard on yourself.
    Take care

  2. You know it is because you use such cheap cameras!!!

( don't panic, it is my sense of humour)

I would not make a photograph looking up a ladies nose, not glamourous. I think we all try to hold the camera, perhaps in front of a mirror , and try to compose it. We end up using too wide a setting and get distortion. I think you have nik 700 which you could set to take a series of pictures whilst it stays fixed and you move arround at a greater distance than you usually use. Take 100 and delete 97. I look forward to the new result and charge nothing for this advice (humour). Good luck.
